BASIC COMMANDS WITH EXAMPLE (QUICK LEARNING PROCESS)

we will discuss below all the topic in details and with help of Example First here we will put example in front of you and then we will show you all the commands for example so lets start.

Example:

A client come to your office and say that I need a one way ticket for Dubai to London on 28 Sep in Economy class. Airline must be emirates and flight timing will be after noon and before 17:00 assume client name is Arnold John.

Availability: code for availability is 1

first thing you need to do is to check availability of flight on this specific date.

Where Ek is airline code 3 is flight number from F to X are classes in this flight and DXBLHR is sector and 1415 is departure time from Dubai (DXB time) and 1840 is arrival time in London(London time). also note that there are 4 flights of emirates operating on same day. EK 3, EK 31,EK 5.EK 29.From F to P these are business classes where F is the High fare business class and P is low fare business class and from Y to X these are Economy classes where Y is high fare economy class and X is low fare economy class. (this is general rule and may be differ in fare occur you can check this below under fare topic) other thing you should know is the services for class F to P are same only difference is fare and same the case with economy class.

Selling:code for selling command is 0

Now your client say OK book 1 seat for me in flight EK 3 departing on 14:15

Where 0 is selling code of sabre and 1 is number of seats required if you need to book two seats you should enter 2 and X is class to book and 1 is line number where flight is showing in this case we are booking on ek 3 and this flight in showing on line 1 if we need to book EK 31 then we put 2 instead on 1.

This out come mean there is no fare for X class as seen in out come sabre replied ATTN*VERIFY BOOKING CLASS and on number 01 it shows T class and its fare which mean the lowest available fare is for T class then L is bit Expensive and then Q class and so on in last line you see ATTN*REBOOK OPTION OF CHOICE BEFORE STORING FARE
sabre replied you need to rebook the seat 1 procedure is to ignore all of it with I command and start again take availability and book T class and so on but this is lengthy procedure this 1 command is used to rebook in lowest available fare

So Finally we got lowest available fare and also booked the lowest fare class. Now first i describe you the fare components and then move on to next step. You see this FARE  AED   2120 EQUIV PKR   60940   which is called Basic fare payable to airline (basic fare is fare without taxes) AED 2120 is amount in Dubai Currency and PKR 60940 is amount in Pakistan currency because i have sabre in pakistan fare will be displayed in your basic currency from country you belong. The other thing you see is TOTAL PKR     81135 this is total payable amount to airline including all the taxes except your service charges which you need to collect above this fare. So the difference of basic fare and total fare is equal to total taxes.
TIP: when ever you book a seat you must used wpncb command there may be a low fare available on flight.

NAME FIELD:code for name field is -

now if client is agreed on price next thing is to make reservation for him. so here you need to enter his name.

So here - is code for name and john is last name / is used to separate names and Arnold is first name of client.
This command is use for clients who are adults having age more then 12 years.
Command for child:
Child is considered whose age is more then 2 year and less then 12 year

Where - is code for name John is last name of child and Arnold is first name * is used for extra info in *C08 mean client is child and have 08 year old.
Command for Infant:
Infant is considered whose age is less then 02 year.

Where - is code for name I is code for infant and John is last name Arnold is first name * is used for info I18 mean infant age is 18month.


AGENCY DETAILS:code for agency detail is 9

Agency details are used to put your own details and also to enter client contact info.

You see i have highlighted two numbers in pnr first one is MQ73QN This is reservation number of Emirates airline you can check this on emirates.com where in manager booking put this reservation number (which is also called PNR) and last name of client in this case John and you will see the reservation there.
The other number i have highlighted is JLHLVF  this is also called pnr or reservation number but it is of Gds Sabre.

There are two ways to display reservation after you ignore the reservation
1- By Reservation Number(PNR)
in this method if you remember the sabre pnr or you have right down some where so it will be simple
